The Hamilton OneFerm family of pH sensors represents a leading solution for single-use applications within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries. These sensors are a significant advancement in single-use measurement, addressing common issues associated with traditional reusable pH sensors inserted into bags. Combining the proven reliability and measurement stability of Hamilton's conventional sensors with the convenience of seamless integration into single-use bioreactors, OneFerm sensors offer high accuracy even after gamma irradiation and boast a sufficient shelf life. Their clog-free diaphragm ensures exceptionally low drift throughout the sensor's lifespan, and they can be customized to specific application requirements.

The OneFerm family is ideal for single-use bioreactors (both bag and rigid container types), single-use mixers, and single-use downstream processes. The OneFerm pH, in combination with the Arc Module, provides an industry-standard digital Modbus RTU signal and an analog signal (4 to 20 mA). OneFerm pH Sensors with Pt100 and Pt1000 temperature sensors, as well as the K8 models, can be connected and calibrated to most industry-standard transmitters, making them a perfect solution for retrofitting existing controllers with single-use containers.

How do I communicate with an Arc sensor?

Arc sensors have a built-in micro-transmitter within the sensor. ArcAir software is a powerful tool to access data, configure and calibrate the sensor. This can be done with Bluetooth wireless communication or with a wired connection directly to a PC.

Does my optical DO sensor require calibration prior to usage?

All Hamilton optical dissolved oxygen sensors come with factory calibration; however, for best accuracy, it is recommended that calibration is performed prior to use. The factory calibration does not account for variations in atmospheric pressure or humidity which are often different based on location.
