With the easyCode Carrier’s ultra-fast tube barcode scanning, samples are fully tracked as they quickly progress into processing workflows.

High-Performance Barcode Reading

The easyCode Carrier scans 2D barcodes on sample tubes to rapidly facilitate sample identification as each sample moves through the automated workflow. A five-megapixel camera with advanced optics and a built-in light captures even difficult to read 2D barcodes. The camera requires no warm-up time, features a read time of less than one second, and captures a single image of the entire rack. Reading options may be modified in the software to define customized reading patterns.

Integrated Automation Convenience

In addition to the imaging position, the easyCode Carrier offers three additional SLAS/ANSI plate positions, as well as one MultiFlex position that can be configured individually. It seamlessly integrates onto the deck of Microlab STAR, Microlab STAR V, and Microlab VANTAGE automated liquid handlers. This means that samples can quickly progress from identification to pipetting and other automated workflow steps.

Optional 1D and 2D Barcode Reading

The standard easyCode Carrier is ideal for use with most common 2D barcode types. For additional tracking and assurance, the easyCode Carrier PLUS model includes a mirror to facilitate 1D rack barcode scanning.

As a seamlessly integrated automated solution, easyCode Carrier provides highly reliable, rapid, and walkaway barcode scanning.

Both easyCode Carrier models read a wide range of 2D barcodes, and the easyCode Carrier PLUS works with most common 1D barcodes.
