The PSD SmartSense is built upon the PSD/4 design and features a 30 mm stroke length and accommodates syringe volumes ranging from 12.5 μL to 2.5 mL.
The Hamilton PSD SmartSense is a compact, high-precision syringe pump engineered for intelligent liquid handling in OEM applications. Designed for critical environments where accuracy, reliability, and data traceability are non-negotiable, SmartSense delivers real-time diagnostics, fast data communication, and seamless integration with your system. Compatible with both Smart syringes and valves, it automatically detects volumes and components, ensuring optimal setup and reducing the risk of human error.
Available in two versions—SmartSense and SmartSense Pro—this pump handles volumes from 12.5 µL to 2.5 mL, with stroke lengths of 30 mm, delivering accuracy down to ±0.5% and precision of 0.05%. How it Works
Syringe pumps facilitate fluid transfer between various locations. The example below demonstrates their use with a simple Y-valve, while the principle remains applicable for systems with more complex valve configurations.
Delivering greater than 99% accuracy, these positive displacement pumps are the ideal choice for handling challenging liquids. The precise liquid handling capabilities and minimal air exposure ensure consistent and reliable performance regardless of the liquid’s viscosity, vapor pressure, or temperature.
- 1. Plunger moves down pulling desired volume of liquid from vessel A into the syringe.
