Syringe Applications

Chromatography Syringes

Hamilton offers a wide range of chromatography syringes for HPLC and GC, designed for precise and accurate sample injections. Their catalog includes replacement autosampler syringes for popular HPLC and GC systems, as well as manual syringes for on-column, headspace, and split/splitless injections, plus specialized syringes and needles for TLC.

Syringe Applications

Animal Science Syringes

Hamilton Company's life science syringes and needles provide essential precision tools for researchers in animal sciences. Offering precise sample collection and administration of therapeutics in laboratory animals, Hamilton syringes deliver the reliability and accuracy that animal research demands.

Hamilton Company's 600 series line of syringes are extremely low volume line of syringes. The 600 series syringes are similar to the 700 series only with half the stroke length and a reinforced stainless steel plunger.
Hamilton 700 Series Microliter Syringes provide exceptional precision and reliability for low-volume liquid handling. With a leak-free fit between the glass barrel and stainless-steel plunger, they deliver superior performance for everyday lab use.
The 800 series syringes are the reinforced plunger version of the original 700 series syringes. Attached to the flange of the syringe is a blue Syringe Holder. The Syringe Holder provides a spot to hold the syringe that will not heat up the barrel causing dispense inaccuracies.
The 7000 series syringes are considered modified Microliter syringes for their unique design. This series of syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 0.05 μL up to 5 μL. The 7000 series is the only zero dead volume syringe.
The 1000 series syringes are a mid-volume Gastight syringe. This series of syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 1 mL up to 100 mL. A variety of different terminations and needle options are available in this series.
The 1700 series syringes are the gas tight version of the original 700 series syringes. This series of gas tight syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 1 μL up to 500 μL. A variety of different terminations and needle options are available in this series.
Hamilton Company has made a reinforced line of their Gastight, low-volume syringes, the 1800 series. The reinforced plunger keeps the you from bending the plunger.

Gastight Syringes

Super Syringes

Super Syringes are extremely high volume Gastight syringes. The work best with volumes between 100 mL to 2 L.
The 900 series syringe is the economical version of the 800 series syringe, perfect for dispensing volumes from 0.5 μL to 10 μL. The syringe holder is permanently attached to the barrel, ensuring reliable and accurate dispensing.

Information for Hamilton Glass Syringes

The fluid path of a Hamilton glass syringe is chemically inert with stainless steel, borosilicate glass, and PTFE used for most syringes. N.I.S.T. traceable certification is available as an additional service for most syringes in our product line.

What are the Advantages of Glass Syringes?

Borosilicate glass is a highly versatile material that possesses both a high degree of chemical inertness and the ability to form into precise dimensional shapes. When selecting a syringe for a specific application, it is essential to consider the materials used in its construction. Hamilton syringe barrels, for instance, are made from high-quality borosilicate glass, which is the preferred material for its ability to hold precisely engineered shapes without degrading over time.

Unlike plastic syringes, which can stretch, bend, or wear out with use, glass syringes remain rigid, maintaining their volumetric shape throughout their entire application lifetime. In addition to its dimensional stability, borosilicate glass also has a wide range of chemical inertness, making it the ideal choice for handling a variety of chemicals. Moreover, glass syringes are more environmentally friendly than plastic syringes, as they are recyclable and have a longer application life.
