SIJET Pico Dispenser

The Core of Precise Picoliter Dispensing

SIJET is a non-contact picoliter dispenser that uses a piezo actuator to deform a rigid silicon-glass nozzle, dispensing droplets down to 50 pL with high reproducibility. Its single-use cartridge includes an integrated reservoir and has <1 µL dead volume, supporting a wide liquid range while preventing cross-contamination and minimizing maintenance.

Integrated into BIOSPOT or OEM Systems

SIJET complements PIPEJET® in the BIOSPOT® DX platform, enabling seamless dispensing from nanoliter to picoliter ranges. It’s ideal for high-resolution spotting on biosensors, membranes, or custom substrates. With its compact, media-separated design and digital control, SIJET is perfect for OEM integration into third-party instruments or microfabrication lines.

Piezo Stack Actuator

The core of the SIJET is a piezoelectric stack that drives the system with sub-micron precision. Its fast, consistent actuation ensures high-frequency, reproducible droplet generation with minimal energy input.

Positive Displacement Piston

The piezo actuator controls a miniature piston that compresses the dosing pipe from the outside. This contact-free interaction displaces a precise volume of liquid to form each nanoliter droplet.
