Retractofit Retractable Sensor housings

Safe sensor extraction during running processes.

The RetractoFit products are manually retractable housings designed for 225 mm sensors in industrial applications with process pressures up to 6 bar. They  allow mounting and dismounting of sensors while the process is running. For safe operation, the housing prevents insertion without a sensor and removal during measurement.  RetractoFit housings are easy to use and maintain: only one press on the red button is needed to move the sensor into or out of the process. All o-rings can easily be replaced by the operator without special tools. The RetractoFit is available in different versions.
Standard RetractoFit housings (237240 & 237490) have options for either stainless steel or PEEK wetted components. The RetractoFit Bio (237440 & 237480) includes a special rinsing chamber with angled connections for optimal cleaning.

Which retractable housing should I use?

Hamilton makes three families of retractable housings. The Retractofit is our basic manually retractable housing. It is only available with G1-1/4" process connection and has no other options. The Retractex family offers both manual and pneumatic versions with a variety of materials and process connections that can be selected depending on the applications. Finally the RetractoMaster is specifically designed for use with the ChemoTrode refillable sensors.
