FlexiFit static sensor housings offer flexible integration of sensors into various ports, perfect for batch applications (e.g., breweries) where the sensor is installed at the beginning of the process and does not need to be removed until the process is complete.

The FlexiFit housings are designed for 120 mm sensors in different kinds of industries. A variety of process connections ensure the usability in the chemical industry as well as in hygienic processes. FlexiFit static housings suit batch processes requiring sensor installation at the start, remaining until completion. 

All Hamilton FlexiFit housings have EPDM o-rings and the electropolished surface quality (Ra < 0.4 µm) is shown on a certificate. They are suitable for autoclavation, CIP and SIP procedures.

How to select a FlexiFit sensor housing?

FlexiFit static sensor housings should be chosen based on the process connection on your vessel and the sensor compatibility. Process connection options include G1-1/4" (25mm Ingold), Triclamp, and Varivent. FlexiFit housings compatible with pH / ORP sensors have protection prongs to decrease risk of breakage. FlexiFit housings compatible with DO, conductivity, and cell density sensors are flush to avoid any interference with the measurement.

What is the Hygienic Socket?

The Hygienic Socket is a single product that combines the functionality of a welded socket along with a static sensor housing all in one device. The Hygienic Socket welded directly into the side of the vessel. Any 120mm by 12mm diameter sensor can be directly inserted to make a sanitary installation. The Hygienic socket reduces the cost and complexity of installing sensors into stainless steel vessels.
