Leak-free precision and versatile use

With a precision-machined polymer plunger tip, Hamilton’s gastight syringes provide a leak-free seal for dispensing heterogenous liquids and gases without any risk for evaporation. What’s more, the Gastight fit is achieved by the tight fit of the plunger tip that wipes the interior of the syringe barrel, reducing the risk of deposits that cause the plunger to freeze. 

Each Gastight syringe series offers termination and needle options to fine-tune a syringe to your application. Reinforced plunger syringes are also available for low-microliter sample volumes.

Can I order a replacement plunger for my syringe?

Most Gastight syringes have replacement plungers available under 'Accessories' on the product page, while Microliter syringes do not. 7000 series modified Microliter syringes have zero dead volume and a small plunger wire, but it's best not to remove the needle or plunger to avoid damaging the wire.

What is the difference between a Syringe and a Calibrated Syringe?

These syringes are manufactured the exact same way. The Calibrated Syringe is a serialized syringe including a Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST, whereas the Syringe does not include a certificate. Hamilton Company offers a recalibration service for Calibrated Syringes. All Calibrated Syringe part numbers begin with CAL.
