Hands-Free, High-Throughput Efficiency

The flexible HMotion robotic arm integrates with Hamilton and third-party devices to take over plate transports so you can focus on higher-value tasks.

Reach for Heightened Laboratory Efficiency

Hamilton’s HMotion robotic arm swiftly and safely transports plates to automate end-to-end workflows. The HMotion has a dedicated VENUS software driver, with a teaching interface allowing users to move the arm to various teach points. Additionally, a robust collision detection feature prevents harm to users, samples, and equipment.

Seamless and Dynamic Benchtop Integrations

The HMotion is engineered to integrate with our automated liquid handlers as well as our automated sample storage systems and decapping devices. Add third-party peripherals such as hotels, incubators, and plate readers to further enhance efficiency in your personalized  integration system.

As your needs scale and evolve, the HMotion easily adapts to your system configurations.

The HMotion’s hands-free execution takes over sample transport so you can refocus efforts on higher-value laboratory tasks.

The HMotion allows users to easily adjust movements as needed to ensure safe sample transportation.

Advanced safety measures deactivate HMotion movement when any counterforce is detected to prevent damage or harm that can disrupt your workflow.

The HMotion is versatile, offering a variety of configurations to accommodate height and reach.

Explore the HMotion robotic arm

1

HMotion Configuration Options

Choose from two configurable vertical heights (Z-axis, 400 and 750 mm) and three linear rail axis distances (1.0, 1.5, 2.0 m).
2

Extended Arm Option

Increase the circular workspace reach using an extended arm on the HMotion’s tower.
3

VENUS Software Driver

Easily program all plate transport steps to-and-from the automated liquid handler and devices in close proximity through VENUS.
4

Teaching Mode

Manually move the HMotion Arm and Gripper to the desired position to teach each transport step. Locations are stored in the VENUS software.
5

Collision Detection

If counterforce is detected, power to the HMotion motor is immediately deactivated.
