Streamline bulk reagent handling in automated liquid handlers
Hamilton’s Media Fill Module automates media and reagent replenishment to increase productivity using our Microlab STAR, Microlab NIMBUS, or Microlab VANTAGE automated liquid handlers. The Media Fill Module can be used with labware in ANSI/SLAS format and has a liquid level sensor to prevent overflow. This is ideal for applications that require large volumes of non-volatile, non-corrosive, and non-flammable liquids. In cell culture applications, the Media Fill Module and appropriate flexible tubing create a sterile path to protect against contamination.
Scale up or down as needed
The Media Fill Module includes a control box, peristaltic pump kit, and a compact deck trough module that consumes one ANSI/SLAS deck position. Up to 4 pumps and 4 deck trough modules can be supported by each control box to scale throughput.

Fill reagent troughs in up to 4 ANSI/SLAS positions, each accessible by the liquid handler’s pipetting channels, including our Multi-Probe Head (MPH).

Ensures a closed, sterile transfer pathway from source container to reagent trough to prevent contamination.
Up to four pumps and reagent trough modules may be connected to the controller as sample processing needs evolve.
