High-Throughput, Automated Microtube Processing

With Hamilton’s unique FlipTube, you can finally combine the familiarity of a microtube format with the convenience of hands-free automation.

FlipTubes are specially designed to work with FlipTube Racks and the FlipTube Tool on equipped Hamilton liquid handling systems. Up to 4 FlipTubes can be opened at once in a controlled motion to prevent aerosol formation.

This way, you aren’t spending time opening and closing tubes by hand during processing. FlipTubes are ideal for increasing sample throughput while protecting sample integrity in highly regulated markets and forensic labs.

What you can expect

  • Familiar Microtube Style

    Each FlipTube has graduation marks and large frosted areas on the lid and side for easy labeling.

  • Lid Locking Opening Mechanism

    FlipTube’s lid design locks into place when opened via the FlipTube Tool or manually for unobstructed sample access.

  • Critical Quality Criteria

    FlipTubes are free from human DNA, RNase, DNase, ATP, PCR inhibitors, and endotoxins. Sterile and ATP-free available.
