FermoTrode pH Sensor
The maintenance free FermoTrode sensors are designed for measuring pH in pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries and fit in the MasterFit and RetractoMaster housings without need for pressurization. The Everef-F reference cartridge ensures that the reference electrolyte Skylyte remains free of silver and precipitations. It withstands steam sterilization.
The FermoTrode is not suited for contact with caustic soda like in CIP-cleanings or for use in media containing citric acid.

What is the expected lifetime of my pH sensor?
Expected pH sensor lifetime is dependent on the application. Exposure to strong chemicals, elevated temperature, fluctuating pressure, and solid build-up can all impact the sensor life. As the sensor ages, a sluggish response may become more apparent, and will require more frequent calibrations to compensate for this change. What solution should I store my pH or ORP probe in?
