Polilyte Pro pH and ORP Sensors

The maintenance free Polilyte Pro sensor is designed for pH and ORP measurements in water applications, especially in low conductivity samples, e.g. wastewater, fish farming, ground water, etc.
The Single Pore liquid junction guarantees best measurement results because of direct contact between the sample and the Polisolve electrolyte - clogging is nearly impossible.

What is the expected lifetime of my pH sensor?
Expected pH sensor lifetime is dependent on the application. Exposure to strong chemicals, elevated temperature, fluctuating pressure, and solid build-up can all impact the sensor life. As the sensor ages, a sluggish response may become more apparent, and will require more frequent calibrations to compensate for this change. The overall health of the Arc pH sensors can be seen using the quality indicator in ArcAir software. Click to learn more about sensor lifespan and expiration in the Knowledgebase article. -
What is A-length and how is it measured?
A-length refers to the insertion depth of the sensor. It's generally measured from the base of the PG13.5 mounting threads but can vary with certain styles of sensors. -
How do I clean an ORP sensor?
The platinum band around the tip of the ORP sensor can oxidize over time. Light scrubbing with a mild abrasive such as toothpaste will remove the oxidization. Rinse with potable water and store in storage solution prior to usage
