Organosulfur compounds are of great value to processes inhibiting cancers or generating overall health. Garlic and garlic essential oils have been used for centuries as a prophylactic and therapeutic agents. The sulfides found in garlic have been mentioned in the cessation of prostate cancer1, senescent cell health2, and even provide some early promise in the fight against SARS-CoV-2.3

All of the oil soluble diallyl compounds found in garlic are shown to be active in the fight against aging and disease. Hamilton Company has developed a method for superior separation of the oil soluble components found in garlic. The sulfur heteroatoms found in the analyte oil provide good baseline separation due to the π interactions between the unpaired electrons in the sulfurs and the delocalized aromatic rings found in the PRP-1.
