Single use sensors

Bringing the Trustworthiness of Reusable to Single-Use

The Next Advancement in the Evolution of Single-Use

Hamilton recently expanded its portfolio of single-use sensors designed with the same technology as Hamilton’s widely used reusable probes. The single-use sensors are built to offer the same quality and performance, but designed to meet the specific needs of single use applications.

To better understand these needs, Hamilton has worked closely with single-use bag and bioreactor manufacturers. This collaboration resulted in the development of pre-installed and pre-sterilized solutions, including unique components for ideal integration without risk of leakage or contamination.

Our sensors provide the next advancement in the evolution of single-use measurements with a wide range of measurement parameters, bioreactor connectivity options, and other benefits of advanced technology.

Single-use options include pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and viable cell density, all of which come pre-calibrated with short wet-in times for a ready-to-use experience.

Measurement principles based on reusable technology also ensure the most reliable measurement possible, including low pH measurement drift.

Other key features of Hamilton’s single-use line include suitability for gamma sterilization, dry storage capability of 18 months or longer depending on the sensor, ISO 10993-5 and USP <87> cytotoxicity requirements met, third party test data availability for review, and packaging suitable for clean room environments.

All of Hamilton’s single-use products are available with the Arc intelligence platform providing robust data and simplified start-up through wireless sensor configuration, calibration, and diagnostics using ArcAir software.

When exploring single-use sensors, let Hamilton provide reliable sensors for a seamlessly successful integration into your application.
