Pre-Pressurized pH and ORP Probes

Was macht druckbeaufschlagte Sensoren besonders?
-
Pre-Pressurized Reference
6 bar of internal pressure ensures that contaminants from the process liquid cannot easily enter the sensor.
-
Everef-F reference system
The Everef-F system uses a silver scavenger and a diffusion barrier to block Ag+ ions. This ensures stable measurement, less cleaning and longer sensor life in biopharma applications.
-
HP Coatramic Diaphragm
This specially designed porous diaphragm works in combination with the electrolyte to form a non-stick coated surface that greatly reduces clogging by external particulates.
EasyFerm Plus vs. EasyFerm Bio?
- PHI-Glasmembran empfohlen
EasyFerm Bio Sensoren
- Optimal für Lebensmittel-, Getränke- und biopharmazeutische Anwendungen mit CIP-Reinigung
- Biokompatibles Foodlyte Elektrolyt
- EHEDG-Sanitärzertifizierung
- HB-Glasmembran für schnelles Ansprechen nach CIP empfohlen

What is a pre-pressurized sensor and why would I choose it?
The electrolyte within the sensor is pressurized at the factory. This feature helps prevent against clogging and poisoning of the sensor due to the process liquid. The design is hygienic and well suited for fermentation applications found in biopharma, food, and beverage markets. -
What is the expected lifetime of my pH sensor?
Expected pH sensor lifetime is dependent on the application. Exposure to strong chemicals, elevated temperature, fluctuating pressure, and solid build-up can all impact the sensor life. As the sensor ages, a sluggish response may become more apparent, and will require more frequent calibrations to compensate for this change. The overall health of the Arc pH sensors can be seen using the quality indicator in ArcAir software. Click to learn more about sensor lifespan and expiration in the Knowledgebase article. -
What solution should I store my pH or ORP probe in?
Hamilton recommends storing pH and ORP probes wet in either Hamilton Storage Solution (Ref 238931) or in 3M KCl solution. Click to see the pH/ ORP Sensor Storage and Regeneration Knowledgebase for more information.
