PEEK Compression Fitting
The 1/16th inch connector is designed to attach high pressure PEEK tubing directly to a small hub removable needle (RN) connection. Tightening the RN nut compresses the conical PFA ferrule into the PEEK cup ferrule creating a seal between the syringe barrel and the PEEK tubing. The connection requires no modifications to the PEEK tubing.
Rigid PEEK tubing is recomended for all precision dispensing applications due to it's low dead volume. Additionally the rigid wall ensure that the proper dispense volume is transfered from the the syringe and is not lost to expansion of the tubing wall.
