This level of project represents customized solutions that require adaptations or tailor made components for a customer’s process that interacts directly with the liquid handling robot and enables them to achieve the result needed to meet their goals. An example of a project of this level would be a custom design for a slide tilt module or rack for specialized labware.
Many researchers are taking a system approach to life sciences and other disciplines which demand a researcher to combine several processes into one workflow. This may require integration of several different analytical instruments and liquid handlers. Hamilton understands this challenge and has a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers to implement this approach in creative and innovative ways, which solves a customer need and gets them to their end goal.
A level 2 project represents a customized solution or Integration of 3rd party vendor devices or components (inclusively of solutions from Level 1, L1 Projects) and the applications can be written in Reno or onsite, per the customer’s preference.

A level 3 project represents a customized solution or Integration of 3rd party vendor devices or components (inclusively of solutions from Level 1 and 2, L1 and L2 Projects), applications and customized software/tools are written in Reno, and all components are signed off by the customer in a Factory Acceptance Test as well as Site Acceptance Test.
