Hamilton Cell Density Arc View Controllers have multiple hardware options to connect the sensor and view data. Information about each connection method is described below.

Connection with ArcView Controller

The Arc View Controller provides a stand-alone solution to configure, calibrate, view and trend cell density information. The Arc View 265 (Ref 243800-XXXX) offers two sensor channels while the Arc View 465 (Ref 243801-XXXX) and 465XL (Ref 243802-XXXX) offers four sensor channels. All Arc View controllers come with a stainless steel enclosure and touch screen suitable for use in a manufacturing environment. An optional 4-20mA Output Box (Ref 243850) can be connected to the AUX port on the Arc View Controller to provide up to four passive analog outputs which can be used with the process control system (PCS).

Connection with a PC

The Cell Density ComBox (Ref 243810) allows two sensor channels to be connected to a personal computer. Each ComBox comes with software to provide configuration, calibration and trending of cell density measurements. An optional 4-20mA Output Box (Ref 243850) can be connected to the AUX port on the Arc View Controller to provide up to four passive analog outputs which can be used with the process control system (PCS). The ComBox is a good choice for laboratory and R&D applications where a local PC is readily available.

Connection with the Cell Density Integration Kit

The Cell Density Integration Kit (Ref 243809) includes both an industrial PC and ComBox for communication with two sensor channels. The Cell Density Integration Kit comes fully loaded with Scan and both Incyte and Dencytee licenses. Modbus communication allows read/write integration into the skid controller. The Cell Density Integration Kit is well suited for system integrators and skid manufacturers looking to include this additional measurement to their offering.
