Sensor Cleaning with the Retractex BC
Once retracted, the sensor can be cleaned while the process is running. Cleaning fluid is connected through external ports where either manual cleaning or automated cleaning with the RetractoControl can occur.
A PTFE scraper with o-ring built into the insertion tube guarantees that process build-up stays outside of the armature and does not harm the internal o-ring seals.

Which retractable housing should I use?
Hamilton makes three families of retractable housings. The Retractofit is our basic manually retractable housing. It is only available with G1-1/4" process connection and has no other options. The Retractex family offers both manual and pneumatic versions with a variety of materials and process connections that can be selected depending on the applications. Finally the RetractoMaster is specifically designed for use with the ChemoTrode refillable sensors. -
