Housings - Flowcells - Sockets
Making analytical measurements in an active process requires hardware to safely and reliably hold the sensor in the process. Hamilton offers a variety of static and retractable housings, armatures, flow cells, and weld-in safety sockets to meet the various needs and use cases.
Static Housings - FlexiFit
FlexiFit static housings are perfect for batch applications where the sensor can be easily removed when the process has completed.
Continuous processes requires retractable sensor holders that allow easy insertion and removal of the sensor while the process continues to run.
Used with the ChemoTrode sensor family, pressurization ensures a constant electrolyte flow which helps to prevent clogging and poisoning of the electrolyte.
Ideal for sample line applications. Flow-through cells are used to make analytical measurements in systems where the sensor cannot be directly installed.
Weld-in Sockets and Blind Plugs
Hygienic weld-in safety sockets (Ingold 25mm style) are suitable for hygienic armatures like the FlexiFit Bio.

Which retractable housing should I use?Hamilton makes three families of retractable housings. The Retractofit is our basic manually retractable housing. It is only available with G1-1/4" process connection and has no other options. The Retractex family offers both manual and pneumatic versions with a variety of materials and process connections that can be selected depending on the applications. Finally the RetractoMaster is specifically designed for use with the ChemoTrode refillable sensors.
What is the Hygienic Socket? The Hygienic Socket is a single product that combines the functionality of a welded socket along with a static sensor housing all in one device. The Hygienic Socket welded directly into the side of the vessel. Any 120mm by 12mm diameter sensor can be directly inserted to make a sanitary installation. The Hygienic socket reduces the cost and complexity of installing sensors into stainless steel vessels.
