What is the "OP" designation at the end of a FlexiFit part number?"OP" is short for O-ring Position.
Which retractable housing should I use?Hamilton makes three families of retractable housings. The Retractofit is our basic manually retractable housing. It is only available with G1-1/4" process connection and has no other options. The Retractex family offers both manual and pneumatic versions with a variety of materials and process connections that can be selected depending on the applications. Finally the RetractoMaster is specifically designed for use with the ChemoTrode refillable sensors.
What is the Hygienic Socket? The Hygienic Socket is a single product that combines the functionality of a welded socket along with a static sensor housing all in one device. The Hygienic Socket welded directly into the side of the vessel. Any 120mm by 12mm diameter sensor can be directly inserted to make a sanitary installation. The Hygienic socket reduces the cost and complexity of installing sensors into stainless steel vessels.
