Next-Generation Software for Hamilton Microlab® 600 Semiautomated Diluter/Dispenser

RENO, Nev., (Nov. 29, 2011) -- Hamilton Company, world leader in fluid measurement, announces enhanced software for its Microlab 600 series diluter and dispensers, providing important new functionality for users in many applications. A new package of compliance features for labs in regulated environments, such as forensics and pharmaceutical, includes method logging with electronic signature capability, password protection and the ability to print documentation. These functions are tamper-evident for additional security and adhere to 21 CFR Part 11 and FDA GLP/GMP requirements. A new Configuration Wizard walks the user through the system setup, including security and method logging settings.


Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Chooses Integrated Hamilton System for Compound Management

HOPKINTON, Mass., (Oct. 26, 2011) – Hamilton Storage Technologies and Robotics have delivered and successfully installed an integrated compound management system at Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd.’s Research and Development Centre in Laval, Quebec. Over 140 scientists are involved in developing new antiviral therapeutic agents at this facility. The Hamilton system provides seamless integration of compound library storage with an automated liquid handling platform for compound dilution and delivery of samples for Biological and in vitro ADME assays.


New Hamilton Sensors Enhance Oxygen and Conductivity Measurements

RENO, Nev., (Aug. 31, 2011) -- Hamilton Company, world leader in fluid measurement, has expanded its ARC sensor line to include two new products for biotech and pharmaceutical processing. The new Oxyferm FDA ARC provides accurate electrochemical oxygen measurements in biotechnology and pharmaceutical fermentation processes, while the new Conducell PWSE ARC provides low conductivity measurements in pure and ultra-pure WFI (water for injection) and CIP (clean in place) validation. The measurement range of the Conducell PWSE is 0.01 to 2,000 µS/cm.


New Hamilton GC Autosampler Syringes Deliver Leak Free Performance

RENO, Nev., (Aug. 15, 2011) -- Hamilton Company, world leader in fluid measurement, introduces a new line of syringes for GC (gas chromatography) headspace autosamplers. Designed to work with PAL* COMBI-xt GC headspace autosamplers, which are sold under many brand names, the new syringes feature a unique spring-in-plunger design for leak-free operation. The spring keeps the PTFE plunger tip against the glass barrel, preventing gaps that can occur with GC temperature fluctuations.
