Hamilton offers a unique line of adapters for valves with M6 and ¼-28 threaded ports. The adapters are made from Kel-F which makes them chemically resistant. Industry standard fittings will work on all Hamilton valves but to minimize dead volume the Hamilton specific valves are superior. Hamilton HV, HVP, HVX, HVM, and HVXM valves have a port depth of 0.219 inches (5.6 mm) which is much shorter than the industry standard ports. This design minimizes the dead volume that is trapped in the valve port.
