These adapters are designed to attach to the end of standard Hamilton syringes to modify the functionality of the syringe. The Septum adapter connects to the end of TLL and LT syringes and can be used for sample spiking. The MTB sampling valve also connects to the ends of a TLL or LT syringes to create sample lock syringes. Finally the Luer adapters convert Large Hub Removable Needle (RN) syringes to various luer terminations.
The Septum Adapter connects to any PTFE-Luer Lock (TLL) or Luer Tip (LT) syringe. The adapter seals the syringe barrel but the sample remains accessible by piercing the replaceable septum.
The MTB Sampling Valve is a lever-actuated on/off valve used for storing and transporting samples in any GASTIGHT PTFE-Luer Lock (TLL) or Luer Tip (LT) syringe. Convert any TLL or LT syringe into a sample lock syringe using this simple accessory. The syringe attaches to the female luer lock connection leaving the male luer open for connection to any Kel-F® hub. The valves are pressure tested to 100 psig and are autoclavable. The bore I.D. is .039".
Hamilton Company offers a series of adapters that convert a large hub removable needle (RN termination) syringe to a luer connection. There are three different removable adapters for 250 µL and larger syringes. The adapters convert the RN termination into either a Male Luer, Male Luer Lock or a Female Luer Lock connection. The adapter has a port I.D. of .039" that allows for sample spiking through a syringe fitted with a 26 gauge needle or smaller.
These adapters enable the connection of a standard 1 mL or 200 uL disposable pipette tip to the end of a Hamilton Syringe. The adapter connects to standard Luer Tip (LT) and PTFE Luer Lock (TLL) syringes. When used in conjunction the PB-600 and the disposable tip adapters can be used as a small volume repeating pipette. The adapter is ideal for eliminating the possibility for cross contamination.
