Hamilton manufactures a variety of syringes accessories to improve or modify the functionality of a standard syringe. There are solutions that prevent plunger bending and increase reproducibility to cleaning tools that prolong the life of a syringe.
The compression fittings and adaptors are designed to connect Hamilton Removable Needle (RN) and Knurled Hub (KH) syringes to Glass Capillary tubing and PEEK tubing. The connectors can be combined in a variety of different configurations to meet most connection needs. Applications include Neuroscience Injections, Patch Clamp, Cell Transplantation, Stem Cell Research, Corrosive Chemical Dispensing, Infusion Pump Injections, and Mass Spectrometry Infusion Pumps.
Hamilton offers two different plunger support devices. The Syringe Guide has two metal guide rods that preserve plunger alignment and prevent plunger bending. The Chaney Adapter uses three metal guide rods. The third rod has an adjustable stop that facilitates repeatable placement of the plunger. For the 800, 900, and 1800 series syringes that already have a supported plungers the Chaney Adapter improves plunger placement.
These adapters are designed to attach to the end of standard Hamilton syringes to modify the functionality of the syringe. The Septum adapter connects to the end of TLL and LT syringes and can be used for sample spiking. The MTB sampling valve also connects to the ends of a TLL or LT syringes to create sample lock syringes. Finally the Luer adapters convert Large Hub Removable Needle (RN) syringes to various luer terminations.
The PB-600-1 Repeating Dispensers consistently dispense sample up to 50 times with the push of a button. Dispense volumes are between 0.2 µL - 50 µL. The PB-600-1 works with Microliter or Gastight syringes from 10 µL to 2.5 mL. Use the repeating dispenser with cemented needles (N), removable needles (RN), luer tip (LT), or PTFE Luer Lock (TLL) syringes.
The brushed stainless steel Syringe Rack keeps your workplace tidy. Store up to 5 syringes from the 700, 1700, or 7000 series. The plastic lip on the Syringe Rack is designed to keep your syringes from making contact with the rack, or other syringes, and to prevent sample contamination. The Syringe Rack can be used as a free standing or wall model.
Hamilton Company provides a series of tungsten wires with varying outer diameters for removing clogs that form inside of small gauge needles. Each package of wire comes with 10 seven inch wires. A biodegradable cleaning concentrate is also available to help remove tenacious residues.
For 7000 series syringes a heated syringe cleaner is available. The syringe cleaner heats the plunger and needle to 370 degrees C and vaporizes any trapped organic solvents.
