Pipette Tips

Hamilton delivers performance, value, and choice with two high quality tip families, plus multiple formats and packaging options. Formats include standard, non-filter, extended length, hydrophobic filter barrier, non-sterile, pre-sterilized, and macrovolume. Packaging options include bulk resealable bags, hinged and lift-off racks, and stackable racks. Hamilton tips are made from chemically resistant, virgin polypropylene for excellent clarity and smooth surfaces. All AdvanTip products are certified to be safe from RNase, DNase, and pyrogens. 10 µL Tips
	These tips are used with Hamilton SoftGrip and SofTouch pipettes 10 μL and smaller. They are provided in different packaging types, surface textures, lengths and filter options. Use the filtering tool to identify the perfect part number.

100 µL Tips
	This is the same as the 200 μL pipette tips with the exception of the filter placement. The filter is installed lower in the pipette tip reducing the capacity to 100 μL. This tip is ideal for use with the 50 and 100 μL SofTouch pipettes.

200 µL Tips
	These tips are used with Hamilton 25-200 μL SoftGrip and SofTouch pipettes. They are provided in different packaging types, surface textures, and filter options. Use the filtering tool to identify the perfect part number. The only exception is the 200 μL filter barrier tip which is not compatible with the 50 and 100 μL SofTouch pipettes. For these pipettes please use the 100 μL filter tip.

300 µL Tips
	These tips are used with Hamilton 250 to 300 μL SoftGrip pipettes. They are provided in different packaging types, surface textures, and filter options. Use the filtering tool to identify the perfect part number.

1000 µL Tips
	These tips are used with Hamilton 1000 μL SoftGrip and SofTouch pipettes. They are provided in different packaging types, surface textures, and filter options. Use the filtering tool to identify the perfect part number.

1200 µL Tips
	This tip is used with Hamilton 1200 μL SofTouch Multi-Channel pipettes. Click “Ordering Information” to obtain a part number.

5 mL Tips
	This tip is used with Hamilton 5000 μL SofTouch pipette. Click “Ordering Information” to obtain a part number.

Hamilton Company offers pipette tips to cover all common pipette volumes from 10 µL to 5 mL.

10 µL tips are used with 2, 5, and 10 µL manual and electronic pipettes
100 µL tips are used with the 50 and 100 µL electronic pipettes
200 µL tips are used with the 25, 50, and 100 µL manual and electronic pipettes
300 µL tips are used with the 250 and 300 µL manual and electronic pipettes
1000 µL tips are used with the 1000 µL manual and electronic pipettes
1200 µL tips are used with the 1200 µL electronic pipette
5 mL tips are used with the 5 mL electronic pipette

Material

Hamilton Company offers two different grades of pipette tip, the standard AdvanTip Precision Pipette Tips and the AdvanTip LT Low-Retention Pipette Tips.

AdvanTip™ Precision Pipette Tips
AdvanTip Precision Pipette Tips are perfect for routine, high-throughput work where an extensive range of universal tips and multiple packaging options are needed to meet laboratory requirements.

AdvanTip™ LT Low-Retention Pipette Tips
Utilizing a unique manufacturing process, Hamilton offers an innovative line of pipette tips that delivers exceptional results unlike any standard polypropylene product. The wall surfaces of AdvanTip LT pipette tips are completely free of occlusions and cavities so fluid retention is virtually eliminated. No secondary chemicals such as silicone or other substances are added, eliminating the possibility of sample leaching and performance inconsistencies.

AdvanTip™ Aerosol Barrier Filter Tip
Use filter tips for the ultimate in protection against contamination when working in applications such as PCR®, DNA amplification and sequencing, and other techniques involving the use of vaporous, radioactive, biohazardous or corrosive materials.

Our tips use a hydrophobic, polyethylene filter with no DNA inhibitors or sealing additives to make these tips especially safe to use for PCR work. The filters are inserted into the tip robotically for added protection against nuclease contamination.

Pre-Sterilized

All Hamilton Company tips are certified Rnase, DNAse, and pyrogen free. For applications that require a sterile tip Hamilton offers a family of pre-sterilized, gamma radiated tips.

Length

For some applications a standard length 10 µL pipette tip is not long enough to accomplish the task. In these instances Hamilton Company offers and extended length 10 µL pipette tip.

Packaging

Hamilton Company offers two packaging options Racked or Bulk. Racked tips come in a plastic box that supports the tips and allows the user to attach the tip to a pipette without touching the tip. The Bulk packaged tips come loose in a bag to provide a cost effective alternative to racked tips. A third Stacked packaging alternative is available for 10 µL and 200 µL tips. The Stacked packaging minimizes storage space and waste associated with standard Racked tips.

AdvanTip Precision Pipette Tips are perfect for routine, high-throughput work where an extensive range of universal tips and multiple packaging options are needed to meet laboratory requirements.

AdvanTip™ LT Low-Retention Pipette Tips

AdvanTip LT Pipette Tips feature walls that maximize sample recovery. AdvanTip LT tips are ideal for quantitative PCR®, pipetting valuable samples and reagents, and everyday use when the highest possible accuracy is required. Utilizing a unique manufacturing process, Hamilton offers an innovative line of pipette tips that delivers exceptional results unlike any standard polypropylene product.
