Long Life GC Autosampler Septa

Long injection life, pre-pierced for minimal coring. Maximum temperature 400°C. Long injection life septum typically achieves 400 injections without failure, when used with a rounded-tip (Agilent-style) needle and autosampler or needle guide. Ideal for standard manual-injection GC and GC/MS. 3 mm thick. CenterGuide™ design requires less force for initial penetration, for a smoother feel. Septum life may be enhanced in some applications by minimizing tearing and coring.

Long Life GC Autosampler Septa

Long Life GC Autosampler Septa are designed for use with GC Autosamplers. The 5, 9, 11 and 11.5 mm diameter Long Life septa are available with our unique prepierced center depression which guides the syringe needle to the same injection point, extending septa life and reducing needle bending.

The 9.5, 12.7 and 17 mm diameter Long Life septa are supplied without the unique center depression, but still provide outstanding longevity at inlet temperatures up to 400°C. Injection life of 400+ injections can be achieved with proper care and use of the HAMILTON dual gauge needle GC autosampler syringes.
