The cell culture media is designed for use with the BioLevitator™ and GEM™ technologies. This includes many classical media types such as DMEM, DMEM/F12, MEM, and RPMI 1640.
These are standard media formulations for cell culture of many different cell types including but not limited to HeLa, HEK 293, CHO, and 3T3 cells. This section includes variations of DMEM, MEM, and RPMI 1640 for specific cell culture needs.
Medium additives are supplements for cell culture medium. In many cases these solutions can be serum, amino acids, salts, etc. In this case L-glutamine is an essential amino acid required by virtually all mammalian and insect cells grown in culture.
