In many applications, the amount of available tips is a limiting factor, especially when working with filter tips that prevent space saving stacking. HAMILTON offers a solution to this problem with the new tip-feeding module for the STAR Line workstations. Tip racks are stored below the working surface and are transported on deck automatically when needed. This module increases the tip rack capacity of one position by a factor of 9 or 42 for high-volume tips with filters and low-volume tips, respectively. The module offers a greatly prolonged walk away working capacity of the system.

In combination with a CO-RE Gripper module and a blister-carrier, opened tip packages can be placed on deck and the tip-feeder automatically loaded with new tip racks.

The following configurations are available: MICROLAB® STARlet manual load with up to two feeders, MICROLAB® STAR and STARplus with up to six feeders.
