Hamilton has developed a fully integrated sample normalization procedure using the MICROLAB Vector control software. Multiple Hamilton workstations including the 4000 MPH series instruments and the MICROLAB STAR can perform sample normalization under Vector control. Vector software accepts data from various plate reader manufacturers, calculates volumes and creates appropriate pipetting sequences during run time. One method can be used for repeated normalization procedures with variable sample number, final volumes and concentrations without reprogramming.
