Hamilton Company introduces an operational qualification for the MICROLAB AVS (Automated Vacuum System) for high throughput solid phase extraction (SPE)

The MICROLAB AVS is a fully automated vacuum manifold, control module, and waste management system for automated extraction and filtration applications. An operational qualification procedure was determined for solid phase extraction using the MICROLAB AVS. This procedure demonstrates the SPE functionality of the AVS while ensuring the system reaches and maintains the defined vacuum level, successfully positions the AVS carrier for conditioning and extraction and successfully evacuates waste.
