ME Degree, Min 3+ years experience, ProE/Wildfire

Manufacturing
Engineer
We are looking
for a Mfg Engineer for our ISO 9001 manufacturing
plant in Reno, NV. As part of the Manufacturing
Engineering team, you will be given responsibility
for all manufacturing aspects of a specific
department, with an emphasis on improving
efficiency through automation equipment
design and implementation. You will be
expected to analyze the current production
operations, observe opportunities, and
lead a team to design, produce, and implement
new equipment and processes. Additional
responsibilities will include tooling
design, routing and BOM maintenance,
implementing SPC analysis, and writing
manufacturing process instructions. BS
degree required.

Custom Solutions
Project Engineer
Responsible for
planning and executing in-house Hamilton
automated liquid handling automation
customization projects. Utilize skills
in mechanics, electronics, and fluidics
to design and adapt components and systems
for liquid handling and pipetting applications
including clinical blood testing, genetic
sample analysis, protein sample preparation,
cell handling, and new pharmaceutical
screening and testing. Two years experience
in equipment customization, design or
prototype development. Experience with
laboratory automation equipment preferred.
Assist in evaluating customer application
needs and adapt them to existing workstations
with a minimum amount of alteration.
Think creatively how to combine or design
components to adapt the liquid handling
workstation to process a customer's unique
labware, chemistry or methology. Integrate
third party devices such as readers,
washers, incubators, thermocyclers, mass
storage devices, or centrifuges to the
pipetting robot. Design and procure custom
parts. Document and validate any design
changes. Assemble and test customized
solution in-house for factory acceptance
testing and/or site acceptance testing.
Occasion travel within North America.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Strong experience
with .NET, .COM and C, C++, or C#. Experience
with routing and scheduling algorithms,
NP-complete problems, and innovative
user interfaces a plus. Must have the
ability to work independently. Candidate
should have strong computer science theory.
Must have good communication skills.
Ideal candidate should have 3+ years
experience. BS Degree required.

Manufacturing Engineer
(BSME, BSEE)
Strong CNC machine
shop experience (10 years). With a background
in Swiss-turning, small parts manufacture
and manual inspection. CAD proficiency
is required; Pro-E is preferred with
5+ years experience in fixture/tool design.
Senior project management skills desired
to transition product designs from R&D
into production. Expertise in medical
device manufacturing, in a FDA-regulated
ISO-9001 environment is required.

ENGINEERING INTERNS
Interns will assist
our engineers with practical hands-on
engineering. Familiarity with CAD and
Microsoft office software is a big plus.
