This wizard is used to dilute sample with diluent. The diluent is drawn in from the reservoir and the sample is aspirated into the hand probe. Next, the sample and diluent are dispensed into the destination vessel where the solutions are mixed together. The diluent flushes the hand probe tubing minimizing carryover for the next sample. To further reduce sample carryover use an air gap to separate the sample and diluent in the tubing or program a wash cycle after the dilution is complete.
