Microlab® 600 Software/Firmware Updates

Take advantage of the latest Microlab 600 developments. Hamilton Company intends to added new features and enhance existing features with planned 6 month Software/Firmware releases. Below is a listing of the latest update packages along with a description of the improvements made for each package. To update your Microlab 600 download the latest Software/Firmware file below. Transfer the entire .ZIP file to the SD Card (do not extract the files) and run the System Update. This is described in section 3.2.4.5 of the Basic Microlab 600 User Manual.

Warning: For best results turn off the Microlab 600, insert the SD Card with update into the controller, and turn on the instrument. Then proceed directly to update the controller without running or editing any methods.

May 25, 2012 – RS-232 Communication Update This update enables control of the syringe pump via the RS-232 port using Protocol 1/RNO. A complete programmer’s technical manual is available on the Microlab 600 downloads page. A bug was corrected to properly handle situations where the prime button is pressed while a wizard or custom method is running.

Electronic signatures of log files for CFR 21 Part 11 Compliance Print log files directly from the controller by purchasing the printer upgrade kit. Archive, view, and print files from a PC using the new Hamilton LyncStore software.

February 14, 2011 - Microlab 600 Software/Firmware Update Improved controller navigation speed. Added a Favorites button to the Main Menu for quicker access. Enabled priming with both syringes with the Dual Syringe Diluter configuration. Improved the responsiveness of the alphanumeric keyboard. Adjusted the runtime presentation of the Custom Method Counter.
